adobe photoshop is not a "we cannot crack this nut shell" thing. we know you are searching for photoshop basic tools and their functionality. we got you covered.
this is the first lesson we are posting exclusively for those who learning photoshop. we will help you to quick-up your learning with our further posts.
What you need:
we do have different choices of Operating Systems but window, mac os and linux related (Like ubuntu) are preferred. check minimum requirements to install photoshop in different platforms.

after installing, you need to understand different terms, shapes, brushes, tools, effects, blah blah.. but things are quite easy and impressive when you get to know about 'em.

Photoshop desktop:
check the below image
As most of the parts are self explainable, I will brief you about all sides here!!
Left side-
The Tool Box- it has all the tools, to perform basic actions on the image. actions?? yes. moving an object, crop, select, draw, fill, gradient. type, color, etc..we will see all parts well explained in next sessions.
Top side-
Menu Bar- this will Contains all the commands necessary to use the program,and advanced image processing commands as well.
Toolbar- this one changes when you select a tool from the toolbox. It provides additional options for each tool.
Right side-
Panels- these box shaped tabs are called as panels, we can get in depth details of images in panels. like color correction, color temperature, brightness and contrast, B&W, hue, color balance, etc.. we will get back to this later.
Middle area-
Canvass- This is where you cook your image, mixing all side well !!
Now, come out of your imagination and check below image that will help you to understand the environment well
Best advice one can give to any beginner is to explore things!! so keep going!!!
